The presentation will focus on preparation for the accreditation site visit. The speakers will discuss best practices to assist a nursing program as they complete the self-study report and collect evidences and materials for the accreditation visit. Numerous tips and recommendations will be offered during the session that are drawn from the speakers' experiences in conducting program reviews and evaluations for specialized accrediting agencies and serving as consultants in a variety of associate degree program settings.

Participants can anticipate gaining new insights into the accreditation process that should ease the anxieties associated with the site visit and accreditation process — both initial and re-accreditation. Topics will include preparation and participation of administration, faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders in the accreditation process. Time will be allotted during the session for attendees to ask questions addressing individual concerns and issues.
