The versatile question: Diverse uses of questioning in online and traditional learning1
Abstract
Questions are a key tool for engaging students and extending learning opportunities. Nursing educators, traditionally using questions in the classroom, now also need best questioning techniques for online courses. Online questioning, missing the traditional nonverbal cues, poses certain challenges. This article, based on a literature review focused on questioning in online courses, highlights models and strategies for using questioning across diverse settings.
